My New Year’s resolution is to stay the same

I characterize my life lately as a bouquet of turd blossoms. Out of this ridiculous situation, I have been rediscovering things that are important in life. Real things – I have been so starved for real things. But I have found a lot of them, and I have found myself in the process.

I am a divorced man now

I am a divorced man now

I didn’t intend to write a single blog post about my divorce. But during the most tumultuous period of my life, I got a lot of solace reading other people’s thoughts and views regarding their divorce experiences. It was genuinely helpful. The Mayflower Society – a little family history for Thanksgiving

Back at cha! My birthday gratitude.

I woke up this morning, grabbed my coffee and opened my Macbook, and found three scrolls down of happy birthday wishes on my Facebook. Wow. I know I would not have gotten birthday cards or emails from so many, otherwise. But thanks to Facebook, people reach out to one another in a quick, simple – yet meaningful way.
